A New Plymouth telegram states that damage to one wing was suffered by Mr Douglas Mill’s Moth aeroplane when it landed at the Bell Block Aerodrome yesterday afternoon. It is understood that the machine will be held up there till a new wing arrives from Melbourne. On his arrival from Auckland en route to Hastings, Mr Mill taxied too far across the grounds, and struck a gorse hedge with one wing, while the other swung round and struck a fence posft. Neither Mr Mill nor the mechanic was injiired. The machine was wheeled a mile down the road and housed in a shed.
