NEW BOYS’ COLLEGE TO BE ERECTED IN WELLINGTON.
(Special to the “Star.”) WELLINGTON, December 21. Tenders will be called after the holidays for the erection of the new Wellington Boys’ College, to replace the old wooden school that has done service for over half a century. A memorial hall will form the central architectural feature of the new college, and will form the school’s assembly hall. The hall was completed and opened about a year ago. The cost will probably be between £50.000 and £60,000. The new building will be further back than the existing building, which will have to do duty for another year.
