Blair, of Outram, who was a judge at the Metropolitan Show, wrote as follows:—-“May I congratulate the association o* the excellence of your show. The parade splendidly marshaled—what a sight to enthuse over. The courtesy and attention of your president afterwards was all that could be desired.” The letter was received at a meeting of the general committee of the association yesterday and it was decided to thank Mr Blair for his gift.
