BUSHMAN KILLED BY FALLING TREE.
(Special to the “Star.’) WI-lANGAREI, December 18. Hugh Christie, aged fifty-eight, a married man with a family, was killed yesterday while bushfelling at Moengawahine. lie was last seen at 3 p.m. yesterday by a fellow worker. When he did not return in the evening a search party was organised, and they found Christie dead with a tree across his body.
