PORT OF AUCKLAND HANDLES BIG TRADE.

(Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, December 17. Auckland exported during 1927 a greater value of produce (£13.000,000' than any other New Zealand port. According to the latest issue of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Journal Auckland’s quota was more than 26 per cent of the Dominion total. Auckland’s imports, £14,900,000, were the greatest in the Dominion, amounting to 33 per cent of the whole.
