ACCIDENTAL DEATH
A correspondent writes in connection with the accidental death by poisoning of Frederick Robert Garlick, an employee of the Woodbank Station, near Hanmer, on Monday, November 19. He states that Garlick drank a strychnine mixture at the woolshed in mistake for a harmless beverage, and became very ill. Mr Hanmer Atkinson was on the soene within a few minutes, and did all he could for the sufferer. Unfortunately the man died a few hours after making his fatal mistake.
