The Cathedral Chapter has accepted a tender for the erection in brick of extensive additions to the Cathedral Grammar School. The work will be put in hand immediately in order to have the new rooms available early next year. The additions, which wiil cost in all about £SOOO, comprise classrooms. dormitories, gymnasium and changing rooms. The architect is Mr W. H. Trengrove, and the builder Mr R. K. Norton. The New Brighton Municipal Band will play the following programme of music on the New Brighton rotunda to-morrow: —March, “ March of the Anzacs”; fox-trot, “Ice Cream”; hymn, “ Abide With Me ”; waltz, “Can’t You Hear Me Say I Love You?’’; selection, “Saxon Hurst”; intermezzo, “ Ankel Fichte”; fox-trot,, “She Don’t Wanna”; march, "Great Little Army.”
