QUEENSLAND PLAYER DEFEATS AUSTIN.
(United Pi ess Assn.—By Electrio Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received November 17. 10.40 a.m.) BRISBANE, November 17. The English tennis players defeated Queensland by four rubbers to two. Gregory beat the State champion, Moon, in straight sets.
Cummings (Queensland) scored over Austin, and Moon and Cummings beat Higgs and Collins in the doubles. The Englishmen took the other matches easily.—Australian Press Association.
