REFORM CANDIDATE FOR PAHLATUA SEAT BEGINS CAMPAIGN.

Per Press Association. PAHIATUA, October 12Mr G. Harold Smith, Reform candidate for the Pahiatua seat, opened his campaign last night with an address at Ballance. There was a large attendance, including many ladies. The candidate had an excellent reception, and was unanimously accorded a vote of thanks and confidence. The chairman (Mr J. H. Bremner) paid a very glowing tribute to the services rendered by Mr Smith when he previously represented the electorate.
