GOOD ACCOMMODATION NOW AT LANCASTER PARK, SAYS BOARD.

7 The annual meeting ,of the Lancaster Park Board of Control -was held last nigTit, Mr MX Simpson presiding. Prosent wore—Messrs W. H. Winsor. J. K. Moloney. C. S. M'Cully, R. 1,; Ward, S. Thompson, A. E. M'Phail and J. O. M’Gi-.Ui'.'i'ay. (secretary). The balance-sheet showed £2505 14s lOd revenue and ‘£14.182’ 1 Ss‘ 6d assets. The credit balance was £6B- 6s. Mr Simpson, in moving the adoption of- the--report, said tliat although it could not be expected to give stand accommodation for all patrons, he hoped the board would always keep this ideal m view whenever fiuanc.es permitted. During the year the embankment - was tarred and this made a clean, dry surface but in the speaker’s- opinion another ’coat was needed.
