CLUB PLANS TO HAVE LARGE NEW PREMISES.
(Special to the “Star.”) AUCKLAND, October 10. The decision to purchase for £5700 a property with a frontage of 25ft 6in to Wyndham Street as a site for new club premises was made at a general meeting of membors of the Masonic Club last evening. As the club’s lease of its existing premises in His Majesty’s Arcade has three or four years to run, the building project is remote, but tentative plans were submitted last evening for the construction of a four-floor structure costing about £20,000.
