LADIES COMMENCE GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP.

SOUTH ISLAND WINS OPENING MATCH. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, September 27. The N.Z. Ladies’ golf championship was begun at Middiemore this morning. The South Island beat the North by 6 matches to 2. Following are results, the South Island ladies being mentioned first: — Miss Kay beat Miss Culling, 5 and 3. Miss Chrystall beat Miss M.
