ALL BLACKS DENY RUMOUR THAT THEY WILL UNLOAD SHIP.

Special to Press Association. ADELAIDE, September 27.

The All Blacks are highly indignant at a paragraph which appeared in an Adelaide paper stating the the team was standing by to unload the Ceramic. There was never any suggestion that the team would work the ship. The players mentioned yesterday, together with Snow and Strang, are leaving for Melbourne this afternoon. The train with the team on board, from the port to Adelaide, was held up by strikers, but a special was arranged. Burrows replaces Hore in the team for the Melbourne match. The Ceramic now sails at daylight to-morrow. The players will pick up the vessel on her arrival at Melbourne. There is a suggestion that the party will not catch the ship for New Zealand until October 12. Some mistake has been made over Burrows and Hore, as both were included in the team which was cabled on Wednesday. The team was:— Full-back—H. Lilburne. Three-quarters—B. Grenside, F. Lucas, C. Rushbrook. Five-eighths—M. Nicholls, L. Johnson. Half-back—W. Dailey. Wing-forward—R. Stewart. Forwards—J. Hore, J. Burrows, M. Brownlie, 'G. Alley, I. Finlayson, W. Hazlett, R. M’Williams. According to a Press Association message from Wellington the New Zealand Rugby Union states that the team is expected to leave Sydney on Friday of next week by the Maheno for Wellington, not by the Marama, for Auckland, as was announced from Adelaide earlier.
