At the wool sales 13,576 bales were of which 2203 bales were Australian and 5000 New Zealand. There was a small selection of merinos, a good offering of greasy crossbreds (top-making style) and a large catalogue of slipcs. Prices were firm with better competition, the owners meeting the market. There were fewer withdrawals. New Zealand prices were:—Tukemohiki 18d top price, 17d average.—Australian Press Association.
