MINISTER DENIES WITHDRAWING HIS RESIGNATION.

(Received August 25, 2 p.m.) SUVA, August 25.
The Rev Mr Macdonald denies his reported withdrawal of his resignation. The report was supplied the Press by Mr Andrews, president of the Methodist Mission. He says that the President requested him to remain iu office till the end of the ministerial year, March, 1929. Mr Macdonald consented. “The withdrawal of my resignation could not possibly be considered by me until the report of the Commision is made known.
