VAN CAPSIZES, INJURING THREE.
EARLY MORNING CRASH AT CITY INTERSECTION.
Two women passengers and the driver of a Ford delivery van were injured when the vehicle capsized in a collision with a motor-car at the corner of Tailored and Gloucester Streets at 8.15 this morning.
The delivery van was going south along Tancred Street, and the motorcar was going east along Gloucester Street. The vehicles met in the middle of the intersection, the van being struck midway between the front and back wheels and thrown on its side in the gutter across Gloucester Street.
One woman passenger was injured about the legs, but not seriously. The driver and the other passenger were also injured slightly. Very little damage was done to the motor-car, which was able to leave under its own power, but the body- , work of the van was extensively battered.
