MOTOR LORRY FELL TWO HUNDRED FEET OVER EMBANKMENT.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Aqgust 21. Severe injuries were received by Hugh Talbot, a married man, forty years of age, residing at Newtown, when a motor lorry in his charge,, the property of the Hutt River Shingle Company, plunged over a bank and fell two hundred feet from the Horokiwi Road, near Petone. Talbot suffered injuries to the head, lacerated wounds in the face, a fracture of the bones of the left hand, concussion and shock, llis condition is regarded serious,
