RACING CLUB WILL ERECT MEMORIAL TO MEDICAL CORPS.
Per Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, Aug. 21. The Manawatu Racing Club intends erecting a memorial to the men and officers of the Medical Corps who trained on the racecourse at Awapuni, and who gave their lives in the Great War. One memorial is to take the form of a large concrete water tank in the shape of a Red Cross ambulance with a cairn built in the centre.
