Art Goebel, winner of the Dole Hawaiian flight prize, landed at 11.26 this morning on a non-stop flight from Los Angeles, covering the distance in eighteen hours fifty-eight minutes and bettering the former record for an east-to-west flight by more than six hours. —Australian Press Association—United Service.
