PACIFIC FLYER ALLEGED TO HAVE MARRIED TWICE.
SECOND WIFE GAINS DIVORCE DECREE. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) SAN FRANCISCO. August 18. Mrs Erma Naier Lyon, in the Superior Court here to-day, received an annulment of her marriage to Captain Harry Lyon, the trans-Pacific airman. The latter, who is in Boston, denies that he was the husband of the San Francisco woman, while his mother and his wife, Mrs Jane Lyon declared, at Paris Hill, Maine, that Erma Naier had never been Lyon’s wife. The attorney for Erma testified that Lyon admitted here, six weeks ago, that his first wife was living and that there had never been a divorce.—Australian Press Association.
