A verdict of death from haemorrhage, the result of degeneration of the cerebral vessels, was returned by the Coroner (Mr Levvey, S.M.) at the inquest in Gisborne on Duncan M’Donald, aged 37, a seaman from the tug Pelican. M’Donald was found sitting on the kerb in Gladstone Road at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and died while being conveyed in an ambulance to the Cook Hospital.
