North Aberdeen by-election consequent upon the death of Mr F H Rose, resulted:— JHrWedgewood Benn (Labour), 10,646 tiw° C 469 Sandeman (Conserve Mr Ferguson (Communist) 2618 Mr Rutherford (Liberal), 2337—Austrahan Press Association—United SerMr F. 11. Rose held the seat for Labour against a Conservative opponent, having a majority of 6701 votes.
