FUNERAL OF LATE CECIL R. MURRAY.
The funeral of the late Cecil R. Murray, who captained the team which defeated the Springboks at Lancaster Park in 1921, took place at Lincoln todav. There was a very large attendance. including some of the Canterbury plavers of the 1921 side. Ihe service at*the graveside was conducted by the Rev Mr Wilson, and the pallbearers were Messrs H. V. Murray, G. Murray, O. Van A sell, A Smith, A. Jacobsen and K. D. Henderson. ♦
