N.Z. SWIMMER WILL BE COMPETITOR IN MARATHON RACE.
AUCKLAND, June 26. New Zealand will be represented in
I the fifteen-mile swimming marathon to be held at Montreal on September 15, by A. A. Baird, the well-known Auckland swimmer. The first prize is j £IO,OOO. The race is an annual one, j and in the past has attracted swimmers from all parts of the world. A J similar race is held for lady swimmers.
