Karetu is expected to leave Lyttelton to-morrow for Sydney and Newcastle. Breeze Is due here on Wednesday from Wellington to load for Dunedin and Timaru. Calm will load here on Thursday for Bluff, Dunedin and Timaru. Storm, from southern ports, is expected here to-morrow to load for Wellington and Wanganui. Maunganui is due at Wellington tomorrow from Sydney. The vessel will leave on the return trip on Friday. Marama should arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Sydney, for which port she will sail again on Friday. Kahika. is timed to load here on May 20 for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. Waiotapu, from Auckland via Wellington, Is due here on June 7 with general cargo and case oil from the Pacific Coast. From Lytteltoh the vessel will proceed to Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle and Vancouver. Echo arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday night from Blenheim. The vessel will load here to-day for Blenheim, also taking cargo for Ward and Seddon. Kennedy, from Foxton, is expected here to-morrow to load for Foxton. Kahika, on completing her loading at Lyttelton on Saturday, sailed for Dunedin and Timaru. Waipiata arrived at Lyttelton on Saturday morning from Auckland via Wellington. She left on Saturday afternoon for Dunedin and Timaru. Kurow will be dispatched from Lyttelton to-day for Wellington, Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. The vessel Is expected to return from the north on Wednesday to load for Wellington and Auckland.

Manuka is expected here from Melbourne, via Bluff and Dunedin, on May The British Imperial Oil Company's oil tanker Pleidon should arrive to-day with a cargo of oil from Singapore. The Pleidon left Singapore on April 23, and had fine weather on the voyage excepting when off Cape Leeuwin (Western Australia), at which point a southerly gale and rough seas were encountered. Captain Cole is master of the vessel, his officers ai'e the following:— Chief, Mr A. C. Grey; second. Mr G. R. Anderson; third, Mr H. Pearson; chief engineer, Mr Ewen; second, Mr Lowry; third, Mr Roberts.- The crew comprises thirty-nine Chinese. The Federal Company advise that the following vessels have been fixed to leave Liverpool for New Zealand ports:— Huntingdon will sail on June 9 for Auckland, 'Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. Devon will sail on July 7 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. Westmoreland will sail on August 4 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. Tongariro will sail on August 18 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin and Bluff. MOVEMENTS OF TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. Waiotapu left Los Angeles on May 6 for Papeete, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Melbourne and Sydney. She was due at Papeete yesterday, and at Auckland on June 1. She will return to Vancouver direct from Newcastle. Waikawa left Los Angeles on May 15 for Apia, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth. She is due at Apia on June 2 and Napier on June 11. She will return to the Pacific coast via Fiji. Haurakl was to leave Ocean Falls for San Francisco direct to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney, and will clear San Francisco on June 1. The vessel will return to the Pacific coast via Fiji. Waitemata, from Sydney via Suva, is due at Vancouver on May 23, and willproceed thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to complete loading for Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She will clear Los Angeles on June 15 and return to Vancouver direct from Newcastle. Waihemo left Sydney on May 11 for Fiji, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and will load at Pacills coast ports for Auckland, Wellington. Melbourne and Sydney, and clear Los Angeles on-July 12. Wairuna left Wellington on May 15 for Melbourne. Adelaide and Sydney. She will leave Sydney on June 11 for Fiji. Fanning Island, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and load at Pacific coast ports for Auckland. Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth; also Bluff or Nelson if there is sufficient inducement. She will clear Los Angeles on August 17. The forward loading dates at the Pacific coast are approximately as follow: Waiotapu will load at Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles during August for Papeete, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney.
