REFEREE ORDERS OFF WOOLSTON LEAGUE MAN.
For questioning a decision of the referee (Mr E. Jones) a Woolston senior grade forward, J. Wakefield, was ordered off the field in the* match between Woolston and Hornby at Hornby this afternoon.' It is understood that prior to the occurrence Wakefield had been cautioned by the referee. At that stage Wakefield made as if to leave the field, but apparently changed his mind under pressure from his team-mates.
