The Civic Roytil Commission, after the completion of the Maling inquiry, will open an inquiry into coal and other contracts during the Labour regime, giving particular attention to the manner in which £15,000 was allegedly remitted to Sydney by the International Combustion Company, which will involve the conduct of certain former aldermen.—Australian Press Association.
