HISTORY OF PARLIAMENT SINCE 1264 WANTED.
MEMORIAL TO BALDWIN SIGNED BY MEMBERS. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). (Received May 19. 12.30 p.m.) ' RUGBY. May 18. A memorial is to be presented to the Prime Minister, asking him to appoint a committee to consider the editing and publication of a full list of* Members of Parliament from the year 1264 to 1532, with such particulars as to contests, polls and party as may be discovered. The object is to obtain a' complete record of Parliament from its beginning.
The memorial has already been signed by a considerable number of Members of Parliament of all parties. It is stated that the assistance of two or three learned professors interested in historical research is assured, provided that the Government are prepared to move in the matter.—British Official Wireless.
