NEW OPERA HOUSE STAGES GOOD SHOW.
Sparkling humour, bright and clever ballets, pretty dresses and singing above the average have marked the performances at the New Opera House of Gayle Wver’s Band Box Revue Company. The present show is better even than its predecessors, and there is not one weak spot to be discerned. The principal feature of the programme is a musical comedy with the title of “The Lady Buccaneers.” There is no plot, but that does not matter because seldom before has such a dainty and shapely chorus walked on to the stage to combine in .song, dance and humour with such artists as Eva Gordon, Elsa Scott and Sam Ward. Charlie Norman and Gus Dawson. A popular vaudeville programme provides a number of clever and snappy numbers.
