ROMANTIC STORY IS BIG ATTRACTION AT CRYSTAL PALACE.
The picturesque days of the rapier, foil, and broadsword, with all the romance they impl>', are recalled at Crystal Palace, to the pleasure of patrons of that theatre. There was a time when the- sword dangled' at the side of every young blood, part of whose education consisted in learning to use it on the slightest provocation, or none at all.; The old-time weapons gleam again in “The Love Mart." They are used with brilliant skill and boundless daring by Mr Gilbert Roland and Mr Noah Beery. It is in the romantic age of old New Orleans, when that city, now prosperous and prosy, was the rendezvous of slave-runners and other characters of the same kidney. “ Bitter Apples," in which Miss Myrna Loy takes the leaning part, is a story of Sicilian revenge. The Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Mr A. J. Bunz. contributes a delightful programme of music.
