MOTOR-CYCLE CATCHES FIRE IN PAPANUI.
Two fire engines speeding through Cathedral Square at about 7,15 last evening gave onlookers cause for idle speculation. The engines arrived at Dawson Street, Papanui, in time to extinguish fire which was rapidly gaining a hold on a motor-cycle and sidechair owned by Mr W. Wright. 48. Roseberry Street, Spreydon. Damage was caused only to the front part—the front tyre and the petrol tank—of the machine, which, uninsured, was valued at £4O.
