The acute shortage of ministers was complained of by the Rev D. J. Flockhart. in presenting the report of the Home Mission Committee to the Pres : fcyterian General Assembly. He added: "It is sad to think that the Presbyterian Church has lost its grip on the State It is a question of men, not money. If these conditions continue the Church will have to go out of business.” The report stated that twenty-eight charges were without ministers and fully forty additional ministers were required. —Australian Press Association.
