CHURCH WILL GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR WANT OF MEN
PRESBYTERIANS LACK MINISTERS, SAYS REV D. J. FLOCKHART. {United Press Assn.—By Electric ’ Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received Mav 18. 11.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, May IS. The acute shortage of ministers was complained of by the Rev D. J. Flockhart. in presenting the report of the Home Mission Committee to the Pres : fcyterian General Assembly. He added: "It is sad to think that the Presbyterian Church has lost its grip on the State It is a question of men, not money. If these conditions continue the Church will have to go out of business.” The report stated that twenty-eight charges were without ministers and fully forty additional ministers were required. —Australian Press Association.
