Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 1 A north-easterly ..gale attained hurricane force last night, accompanied by heavy rain. The wind abated this morning but the rain continued. The North End Boating Club’s shed was lifted from the piles and blown down. The racing plant of 15 boats was destroyed. The damage totals £llOO, of which the boats represent £7OO.
