Mr H. D. Acland, chairman of the Board of Governors of Canterbury College, Dr J. Right, rector, and Mr A. E. Flower will represent the college at a. conference of the four university colleges in New Zealand in regard to a joint application to the Carnegie Corporation for financial assistance for university work in the Dominion. The board has appointed a sub-committee to confer with a committee of the Professorial Board as to the special needs of the college.
