COMING-OF-AGE.

A very enjoyable evening was spent on Friday last at the “Oasis,” New Brighton, where Mr and Mrs 11. A. Bishop entertained between seventy and eighty guests at the coming of age of their son Robert. The evening was spent in games, competitions and dancing. The competitions were won by Misses L. Evans and P. Arundle and Messrs B. Deihl and W. Glendening. The room was prettily decorated with chrysanthemums and ferns. Mr G. W. Bishop proposed the toast of the guest, and Mr A. Boon responded for his parents.
