Mr R. E. M’Dougall has written to the Registrar of Canterbury College: “ Will you please convey to the Board of Governors the great pleasure it has given me to receive its expression of appreciatoin of the Art Gallery gift.” The Board of Governors of Canterbury College met yesterday; present— Mr H. Hamilton, J. R. Cuningham, E. J. Howard, M.P., A E. Flower, C. T. Aschman. J. J. Dougall, J. G. Poison and W. Brock. The High Schools and Hostels Committee reported that a sub-committee had been appointed to consider the adaptation of a property purchased from Mrs Vernon for the purposes of Rolleston House.
