BREMEN AIRMEN MAY FLY AGAIN ACROSS ATLANTIC.
NEXT TIME WILL USE SEXTANT AND RADIO. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received April 30. 9.10 a.m.) NEW YORK. April 28. The programme of entertainment for the Bremen flyers begins activelv on Monday, and it is expected that the enthusiasm at the popular reception will equal that accorded Colonel Lindbergh. Mrs Koehl and Mrs Fitzmaurice ar* arriving by the liner Dresden on Monday, and will participate in the welcome. The city’s reception will end on Tuesday, and the fivers will proceed to Washington for a day, returning to New York on Thursday. They will receive the Distinguished Flying Medal at Washington. It is intimated now that the airmen may fiv back to Europe, or, if they return by steamer, they wilt make another attempt at the westward flight. It is disclosed that the Bremen carried no sextant for observations. The aviators stated that on their next flight they will carry both sextant and wireless.- Australian Press Association.
