COMPETITIONS WILL COMMENCE HERE NEXT SATURDAY.
The 1928 festival of the Christchurch Competitions Society will commence on Saturday next. The new Concert ; Hall has been engaged, and on Saturj day next there will be matinee and evening performances. The items will 1 be given by children, the evening pror gramme being contributed by finalists. I The official opening ceremony will take place at the evening session.
