MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
CHRISTCHURCH. (Before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M.) John M’Donald was sentenced to 1-1 days’ imprisonment on a charge of drunkenness. A charge of being on the premises of the Zetland Hotel after hours was also preferred against M'Donald, who pleaded not guilty. On this charge he was convicted and discharged. (Before Mr li. P. La wry, S.M.) MAINTENANCE CASES. Frank Wally Cox was convicted and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment for disobedience of a maintenance order, the warrant to be suspended, provided that arrears are paid off at 5s per week, in addition to the amount of the current order. Lena Violet Cox, fof disobedience of a maintenance order, was convicted and sentenced to seven days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended provided that arrears are paid off at 5s per week, in addition to payment of the current order. John Edward Hines was ordered to pay 25s per week on a maintenance order made against him in respect to a destitute person.
