ANGLICANS DESIRE POWER TO ADOPT REVISED BOOK.

QUESTION TO COME BEFORE PARLIAMENT. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 30. Unanimity was evident at to-day’s session of the Anglican General Synod when what are known as the Fundamental Clauses were again considered. Resolutions were passed that a Bill be promoted in Parliament, empowering the Church to make certain alterations in the constitution, the effect of the Bill to be to empower the Church to adopt, if it so desires, the revised Prayer Book and such other departures as may be deemed expedient. A Bill to amend certain canons was read a third time and passed.
