The Fire Brigade had three minor calls over the week-end. On Saturday at 5.30 p.m. an alarm was received from an apartment house in Hagley Avenue. The other two calls occurred on Sunday afternoon, a chimney catching fire in Sydenham and an alarm coming from a residence in Ingoldsby Street. Tn neither case was more than trivial damage done.
