MADAME TUSSAUD’S OPENED ONCE MORE.

DINGINESS GONE, IN FAVOUR OF MARBLE. (United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received April 28, 5.45 a.m.) LONDON, April 27. Every type of Londoner and many Americans thronged to Madame Tussaud's, rescued lrom its ashes after three years and re-opened with bands and flags. The old dinginess has given way to a marble hall, and the marble hall to marble stairs, electric lifts and gold balustrades. The crowds flocked round the Royal Family, exclaiming excitedly: “The Queen is lovely,” The Prince of Wales: “Just like, his picture.” 1 All the old Kings and Queens have been faithfully resurrected, while Sir Alan CofSham and Colonel Lindbergh are among the latest arrivals. The new Chamber of Horrors is a dim, dark dungeon, with stray beams of light shining on the faces' of the criminals. —Australian Press Association.
