(\ Bridgeman told Commander Kenworthy that experiments Avere being carried out on scale with models in tanks to lest bomba from aircraft, which were designed to explode under water on the hulls of ships. American experiments were also being Avatched. It was not in the public interest to reveal the results. Commander Kenworthy: "Are you aware that the American experiments haA-e shown that large bombs from aircraft could disable and sink most modern ships? Are experiments w’ith mo<t els in tanks sufficient?” Mr Bridgeman replied: “All our experiments are not made with models in tanks.' Aust. and N.Z. Press Assn.
