ROLLICKING COMEDY NOW SHOWING AT QUEEN'S THEATRE.
There are cars and cars in this funny world. Some are luxurious, up-to-date limousines and others are -well, one can see them round the streets in their last stages before they join the breakdown heap. Most motor-ears have romantic- lives. Their values gradually get lower and lower until they are traded for newer models or else they are used to drive home-made sawmill plants or washing machines. But the 1910 model car which is wotth 10.000 dollars has arrived in Christchurch, and it can be seen at the Queen s 7 heatre any day this week. Fancy a secondhand motor-car of the vintage of 19IT) turning out to be worth 10.000 dollars! It is around such a relic and its surprising value that the story of "Rubber Tyres” revolves. It is a rollicking comedy sparkling throughout with bright humour. “ California or Bust” is the title of the second picture on the programme. It is another automobile picture racing in a riot of action over cactus wastes with wealth anQ happiness at stake and Cupid for the judge.
