MAORI PRISONERS APPEAR IN COURT.
Per Press Association. GISBORNE, March 7. In the Supreme Court George Ngarimu. nineteen, for being found in v dwelling with intention to commit a crime, was sentenced to three years’ Borstal detention. Probation was refused. For committing mischief by seriously wounding a cow which had been tres passing in his garden, Noka Toheriri Paku was admitted to probation for twelve months, in view of his previous record.
