IRAQ'S REPRESENTATIVE RECALLED FROM LONDON
By Telegraph. —Press Assn.—Copyright. Aus. and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, February 17. Muzahim Bey, Iraq’s diplomatic agent in London, has been suddenly recalled, and is being replaced by the ex-Premier, Jafar Pasha. Muzahim Bey stated that he favoured the most friendly relations with Britain, but members of the Iraq Cabinet knew that he was against the mandate. Iraq should have complete independence, against which the door was closed for another five years. As soon as he reached Bagdad he would establish a new Nationalist party.
