A COUNTRY MEMBERS’ WEEK

A COUNTRY MEMBERS’ WEEK will be instituted in tbe Children's Paffes, from the 3rd to lOth March, inclusive. Stories, poems, jokes, photographs, etc., pertaining to country life are solicited before February 25. The following book prizes will be given: 1. Best poem, original or copied, on any phase of rural life. (Age: 2. Best letter, telling c*f the simple joys to be found in the country. (Age limit: 18 years). 3. Best snap or photo of a farm subject. (Age: open). 4. Best essay on what benefit and joy the Children’s Page gives to the country child- (Age limit: 18 years). All Competitions open to all readers, whether active members of the “Star” Circle or not, resident in town or country. Write on one side • of paper only. Append full name and address on each entry. Send entries forward early. Country Children, link forces and make the week, March 3rd to 10th, an epoch in Circle History! Tell ns about the farm, the hens. Old Strawberry, or the school pony, any interesting topic or joke.
