The Auckland City Council, accepted the tender of the British firm. Candy Filters, Ltd., of £33,379, for a filtration plant for the new Huia water supply. There were five tenders. The Palais Royal Cabaret will open on Saturday, February IS, in the Canberra Ilall at the corner of Cashel Street and Linwood Avenue.
