LIMERICK WILL HAVE A VERY BUSY SEASON.

OWNER TELLS WHY HE WAS SCRATCHED FOR THE MELBOURNE CUP. Why was Limerick scratched for the Melbourne Cup? When this question was put to the horse’s owner, Mr H. A. Knight, to-day he replied that the reason was that he did not wish to over-work the horse. 44 Limerick will have quite enough to do in New South Wales without
