NO ARREST YET IN MURDER CASE.
POLICE ARE STILL MAKING INQUIRIES.
The police have not yet succeeded in running to earth the murderer of Miss Gwendoline Scarff.
In response to inquiries made this morning, Police Inspector Cameron stated that there was nothing to communicate.
The police are still actively engaged on the search, and no clue that could possibly lead to a correct conclusion is being neglected. A number of detectives visited Burwood this morning to continue their inquiries in that locality.
